“Roadside” Chicken Thighs

INGREDIENTS

• 8 Bone in, Skin on, Chicken Thighs

• 6 Ounces Smitty’s Small Batch Original

• 1 Cup Brown Sugar

• Meat Candy

• 2 - 12 ounce can Coca Cola

PREPARATION

Soak chicken in cola for at least 2 hours. Remove and pat dry. Sprinkle Meat Candy under skin and set aside. Mix Smitty’s Small Batch sauce and brown sugar. Put thighs on grill and cook skin side up first. Flip and coat with sauce. As skin gets crispy, flip back over and continue to baste with sauce until done. Internal temp of at least 165 degrees. Sprinkle with meat candy and serve.

BeeBeeQue™ Chex™

INGREDIENTS

• 3 cups Corn Chex™ cereal

• 3 cups Rice Chex™ cereal

• 3 cups Wheat Chex™ cereal

• 1 cup mixed nuts

• 1 cup bite-size pretzels

• 1 cup Cheez-It crackers or Goldfish

• 3 tablespoons butter or margarine

• One bottle BeeBeeQue Hot Honey Mustard

• 4 Tablespoons Meat Candy Seasoning

PREPARATION

1. In large microwavable bowl, mix cereals, nuts, pretzels and cheese crackers; set aside. In small microwavable bowl, microwave butter uncovered on High about 40 seconds or until melted. Stir in seasonings. Pour over cereal mixture; stir until evenly coated.

2. Microwave uncovered on High 5 to 6 minutes, thoroughly stirring every 2 minutes. Spread on paper towels to cool. Store in airtight container.

Spicy Meat Candy Chex™

INGREDIENTS

1. In large microwavable bowl, mix cereals, nuts, pretzels and bagel chips; set aside. In small microwavable bowl, microwave butter uncovered on High about 40 seconds or until melted. Stir in seasonings. Pour over cereal mixture; stir until evenly coated.

2. Microwave uncovered on High 5 to 6 minutes, thoroughly stirring every 2 minutes. Spread on paper towels to cool and sprinkle with Meat Candy. Store in airtight container.

Ingredients

1 large lime wedge

Coarse salt, for garnish

1 1/2 ounces high quality vodka

3 ounces tomato juice

1 Teaspoon Meat Candy Seasoning

1 ounce Smitty’s Small Batch BBQ Sauce

Dash freshly ground cracked pepper

6 good shakes Worcestershire sauce

1/8 teaspoon horseradish

1-2 Dash high quality hot sauce

PREPARATION

1. Take a glass and run the lime wedge around the rim to dampen. Dip top of the rim into Meat Candy to completely go around the rim. Add first 7 ingredients together in the glass, squeeze the lime wedge into the glass and mix all together. Add green olive on a toothpick, pickle, pickled asparagus or green bean, cooked, chilled shrimp for garnish and enjoy.
